Iím not entirely sure what happened to Spring this year.† We seem to have pretty much skipped Spring and moved on to Summer, with an occasional backslide in to Winter.† Itís most likely going to be a hot, dry summer.† Keep yourself hydrated, and keep an eye on your friends and loved ones.† And if you see me having a hot flash, please pour ice water on me.† Okay, well, maybe not.
The April Open Full Moon will be on Friday, April 26, 2002, at 7:30 PM, at the First Unitarian Church, 1400 Lafayette, Denver, CO.† The doors of the church open at 7:00.† We like to begin at 7:30.

Once again, the CUUPs drumming circle will be in the sanctuary at the same time.† If you wish to participate in the drumming circle, they do request that you bring a snack to share.
Thanks and a Tip of the Hat to Alia and Tina for their beautiful and fun Ostara ritual. We were reminded of the relationships between pagan traditions at this time of year and those of the major religions also celebrating their holidays. Alia read us one of the "Meagan" stories by Kathryn Dyer. A visit from adorable Ostara Bunnies bearing gifts of colored eggs topped it off. There was a short meditation on the eggs and their relationship to the seeds of change, which they represented.
All the participants in the ritual were youngsters. Older kids called the quarters, and the bunnies were four small children. Alia and Tina are, of course, very young at heart. Thank you for the uplifting evening for all ages.
